Privacy & terms.

Lievanto collects the minimum it needs to run your baking log. We do not sell your data or run ads. On the website, we use aggregate analytics to understand which pages help bakers and whether the site is working well.

Linked to your account

Your email address (to sign in and recover your account) and the content you create: recipes, plans, cook sessions, ratings, notes, Coach questions and history, and photos. Subscription status and entitlement metadata are linked to your account when you start a trial or buy Lievanto Pro; Apple handles your payment credentials. The lawful basis is performing the contract to provide the service you signed up for.

Launch notify list

If you sign up to hear when the apps launch, we store the email you enter and, if you add one, your feature wish, on the basis of your consent. We use it for launch information, feature planning, and any confirmed early-supporter benefit. To be removed, email privacy@lievanto.com and we'll delete it.

Diagnostics

Minimized server and website diagnostics are used for security and to fix failures. Mobile crash data is declared only if an enabled SDK in the signed release actually collects it; the final store answers must match the artifact and production configuration.

Tracking

Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights load only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner or settings. We do not use advertising pixels, ad personalization, or cross-site ad profiles.

We don't sell or rent your data. We use a small number of service providers to run Lievanto, and share only what each needs to do its job. Their production contracts and settings must be verified before launch:

• Email delivery, to send verification, password-reset, and launch emails.
• Error monitoring when enabled, using minimized diagnostic data.
• Cloud hosting, to run the service and store your data.
• Apple and RevenueCat, to process and validate subscriptions.
• Named production AI providers, only after you explicitly request a Coach action and accept the current disclosure.

Some providers may process data outside the EU. The final policy will identify the actual locations and verified transfer safeguards rather than infer them from provider marketing.

The production AI providers, processing regions, retention, training-use position, subprocessors, and transfer safeguards are a blocking owner-verification gate. Coach will not be enabled until the verified details are published in the full Privacy Policy and the matching in-app disclosure.

Account data is kept while your account is open. Deleting your account removes it from active Lievanto systems. Completed Coach history stays visible until you delete the item or account. Deleting one Coach item hides it from normal history, but Lievanto retains it with the time of deletion until you erase your full account. It remains in your JSON account export during that time. The export is available without Pro. Logs, backups, billing records, and external providers can follow separate verified schedules. The final production retention schedule must be published before the paid release.

Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, hand it to you in a portable format, or restrict and object to how we use it. Email privacy@lievanto.com and we'll act on it.

If you're in the EU and think we've handled your data wrongly, you can also complain to your local data-protection authority. In the Netherlands that's the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

The Learn articles are original explanations written for Lievanto. They teach baking facts and techniques, which aren't anyone's property, in our own words. Where an article draws on a book, spec, or guide, that work is credited in a Sources list at the foot of the article, with a link to the original.

Brand, product, and book names mentioned in the articles belong to their owners and are used only to refer to them. If you own a cited work and want a credit changed or removed, email privacy@lievanto.com.

Lievanto has a Free tier and optional auto-renewing Lievanto Pro subscriptions. The Euro storefront configuration is EUR 4.99/month or EUR 29.99/year; eligible annual customers may receive a seven-day introductory trial. Apple shows the localized price and eligibility that apply before purchase.

Calculators, timing estimates, and optional AI Coach output are guidance, not guarantees. You keep ownership of the content you create. Do not misuse the service or attempt to disrupt it for others. Deleting a Lievanto account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

This website uses essential local storage to remember your cookie choice. All non-essential analytics stay off until you choose Accept analytics. Reject non-essential keeps them off, and you can change the choice from Cookie settings in the footer.
