Terms of Service

Lievanto is operated by Shab Software Studio, registered in the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 42095938 and VAT number NL005491694B13, at J. Zwartstraat 19, 1507 XG Zaandam, the Netherlands. For account or support questions, email support@lievanto.com.

These terms apply when you use Lievanto, including the mobile app, website, calculators, Learn articles, launch notify form, and any account features.

If you create an account or use the service, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Lievanto helps serious home bakers plan, calculate, execute, log, and review pizza and bread bakes. It includes recipe storage, cook mode, session logs, calculators, starter tracking, Learn articles, and the optional AI Baking Coach with Leva as its visual identity. The AI recipe parser and AI recipe optimizer are not included in this release.

Calculators, schedules, starter readiness estimates, AI results, and baking guidance are practical tools, not guarantees. You remain responsible for your ingredients, kitchen safety, food safety, oven use, and final baking decisions.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You must give us an email address you can access. If you sign up with a password, keep it secure; if you sign in with Apple or Google, the security of that account is governed by them.

The Free tier includes the core baking workflow, account text sync, the GDPR JSON export, and ten successful AI Baking Coach requests per calendar month, shared across post-bake analysis, crumb reads, Ask Coach, and successful Build a bake generation. Cached results and failed, invalid, cancelled, or expired requests do not consume that allowance.

A request counts once Leva returns an answer. If a request is counted but you never received a usable answer, for example because the app could not display what came back, email support@lievanto.com and we will restore it. We would rather give one back than argue about whose side the fault was on.

Lievanto Pro adds persistent session-photo cloud backup, session comparison, saved calculator presets and history, costing, production planning, and a higher Coach allowance: one hundred successful requests per calendar month. A fair-use guard additionally limits Pro accounts to thirty successful requests per day; it exists to stop a malfunctioning client or a compromised session from draining a month of allowance in hours, and ordinary use will not meet it. Hitting the guard pauses requests until the next day and never reduces the monthly allowance. Separate security, abuse, and app-wide AI-budget controls may temporarily pause requests for either tier.

Lievanto Pro is offered as an auto-renewing monthly subscription configured at EUR 7.99 per month and an auto-renewing annual subscription configured at EUR 39.99 per year. Both figures include VAT where it applies. Apple may show a different amount in your local currency, or a different total where local tax differs, and the total shown in Apple's confirmation flow is the price that applies to you.

The annual subscription may include a seven-day introductory trial. It is offered only in selected countries and regions, and within those, Apple decides whether your account is eligible. Where it is not offered or you are not eligible, annual starts at the displayed price and the app claims no trial. If you receive the trial and do not cancel during it, Apple charges the displayed annual price when the trial ends and the subscription renews annually until cancelled. Monthly has no launch trial. We do not charge you without your explicit App Store confirmation.

Manage or cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation normally leaves access until the current paid or trial period ends, as reported by Apple. Restore Purchases is available in Lievanto Settings after reinstalling or changing devices.

Apple handles trial eligibility, payment failures, taxes, refunds, and transaction records under its terms. Lievanto cannot guarantee or independently issue an App Store refund. This does not limit mandatory consumer or refund rights.

Apple, not Lievanto, is the seller for App Store purchases. If you are a consumer in the EU or the EEA, your statutory right to withdraw from the purchase, normally within fourteen days, is exercised against Apple through your Apple Account, and Apple's Media Services Terms govern it. Nothing here removes that right or shortens it.

The Coach can analyze a completed bake log, describe visible structure in a crumb photo you explicitly select, answer a baking question using permitted context from your account, and create a reviewable Build a bake proposal from constraints you confirm. The composer can turn a voice recording into a transcript you read and edit before anything is sent, and can include photos you explicitly choose. Saving a bake, Cook Mode, opening a log, and planning do not require an AI request.

Before the first request, Lievanto shows a versioned disclosure naming the AI providers and the data that action sends. Coach requests are processed by OpenAI and by Google; voice transcription is processed by OpenAI. You can decline, or revoke permission later in Settings. Coach output may be incomplete or wrong; review it and use your own judgment. It never silently edits a recipe, plan, session, or log.

You keep ownership of recipes, photos, notes, session logs, and other content you create or upload. You give us the limited permission needed to store, process, back up, and show that content back to you so Lievanto can operate.

We do not sell your content, use it for advertising profiles, or use it to train a Lievanto-owned AI model. How the AI providers treat what is sent to them is described in the Privacy Policy.

The Lievanto app, website, brand, calculators, Learn articles, and built-in recipe content belong to Lievanto or its licensors. You may use them inside Lievanto for personal baking and normal evaluation of the service. You may not resell, scrape, copy, or redistribute them as a competing product or content library.

You agree not to misuse Lievanto. In particular, do not:

• try to access another user's account or data,
• attack, scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the service,
• upload illegal content or content that violates another person's rights,
• use the service to send spam, malware, or abusive requests, or
• try to bypass AI, media, email, auth, or infrastructure limits.

We are still building Lievanto. Features may change, move, or be removed. We try to keep the service reliable, but it may occasionally be unavailable, especially during an early release.

Lievanto is provided as available. To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch and EU consumer law, we are not responsible for failed bakes, kitchen accidents, ingredient waste, third-party outages, or decisions you make based on calculators, timing estimates, AI output, or educational content.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.

You can delete your account in the app from Settings, or follow the public account deletion instructions. Deletion is intended to be permanent and irreversible.

Deleting your Lievanto account does not cancel an Apple subscription or stop Apple billing. Manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings before deleting the Lievanto account. Account deletion does not itself create a refund.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without taking away any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
